Santa Cruz 2019

The Second road drive of 2019 took place in another of our old stomping grounds, Santa Cruz. One of the most well know drive areas, it always brings a good turn out as well as offers some sort of adventure in one way or another. The Sacramento caravan got an early start in order to make our way to the official meeting point in Pacifica.

Sequoia Road Tour

Road Adventures’ last trip of 2019 was to the famous Sequoia National Park. This was the first time visiting the park for over half of our participants, and it was to be a great experience. Before heading into the southern part of the park, we made a slight detour to visit Allensworth State Historic Park.

Ghost Town Adventure II

One of the first trips ROC did when it was founded was the run to Bodi, CA. This year, for our second run to Bodi, we had a new route and some interesting changes. The morning started off with our standard rally trail from Carson City over to the Johnson Valley area. Our first stop was for an old silver mine that had long since been abandoned.

Fallon to Gold Hill

The Fallon to Gold Hill adventure was one wild and crazy trip, unlike any other offroad adventure we have been on. Saturday started off fast and fun as we left Fallon, Nevada. Around mid-morning, half of the group disappeared and we were not able to get them on the radio.

Epic Northwest Road Tour

This year’s biannual Epic Trip took us on an adventure up the Northwest coast of Oregon and Washington, and over to see two volcanoes and the Painted Hills. We were a diverse group of cars this year, made up of BMWs, Porsche, a Fiat, F-type Jaguar, Audi and a Lexus SUV. As always, this was a trip to remember.

Carson to Las Vegas

The first Silver State run – aka Reno to Vegas – was easily one of ROC’s largest events. With the goal of always making each run better than the last, for the second time around we used a new starting location and 50% new trails. Despite some interesting weather to start, this event turned out to be another great run.

Redwoods Road Tour & Hwy 299

2018 turned out to be the year of tree themed road tour events. The first of these road tours being the Redwoods Road Tour. This was a modified version of one of the very first road tours we did under the new club name. Starting in a new location, the group headed to Point Reyes to see one of the most well known lighthouses on the West Coast, Point Reyes Lighthouse.
